Agency-client relationship is the same as a marriage between a woman and a man

Play Media Day 02 – organized by the agency Play Team on 19 May this year in Banja Luka – is adding Vlatko Dimovski to its stellar list of speakers. Dimovski, a marketing specialist from Skopje, will present the topic “Just Married – The Honeymoon is Over”.

The relationship between an agency and a client can be compared to a marriage of two people because both relationships first require “courtship”, then respect, understanding, patience and a lot of compromise. At the same time, the average cooperation between an agency and a client, just like the average modern marriage, has an increasingly shorter lifespan and more challenges ahead of it. “Marriage counselor” Vlatko Dimovski will thus address how to maintain the relationships successful and fresh, how to safeguard marriage from challenges, how to foster the butterflies in the belly until the golden anniversary, what it really means when you pledge “for better or for worse”, and what the first day after the honeymoon looks like?

Vlatko Dimovski is in advertising business for 20 years now. He came to McCann Skopje as a graphic designer, at a time when marketing business in Macedonia was still in its infancy, but 16 years later, he is the Head of Operations for the Adriatic region in the context of I&F McCann Grupa, responsible for the markets of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia and Albania. He was the first to bring a Cannes Lion to the Balkans – a gold one – and since then he amassed a host of regional and international awards in the field of creative industries. He’s been a collaborator and partner for more than 200 clients during these 20 years and is therefore an excellent authority on “marriage” issues with clients.
